The Tsunami Rehabilitation Office is a FACILITATING OFFICE of the DIOCESAN SOCIAL SERVICE SOCIETY.

To coordinate all the Tsunami activities a person has been appointed as Tsunami Coordinator: Fr. Victor Lobo. He is the primary person responsible for the implementation of the Tsunami projects To support the Tsunami Coordinator in his job there is the office staff including a secretary, a chief accountant, an accountant and attender.

The staff involved in the Tsunami Rehabilitation is constituted by 30 animators distributed among the coastal villages, 5 coordinators to help the animators in their work and 5 special coordinators for each main issue: Livelihood, Psycho-social support, Awarness program, Housing and Communication.

There are also two external organisms to control and implement the rehabilitation work:
* Tsunami Core Committee
* Tsunami Financial Committee

Tsunami Core Committee of the Diocese is constituted by 17 members under the personal guidance of the Bishop of the Diocese that monitors the whole tsunami rehabilitation: Bishop of the Diocese, Vicar General of the Diocese, 8 parish priests, 1 sister, 2 social workers women, 1 social worker, 1 NGO representative. It decides the criteria for the selection of the beneficiaries of Tsunami project, the policy of the Diocese for the Rehabilitation project and it has the role to discuss about problematic issues.

Tsunami Finance Committee of the Diocese is constituted by 8 members under the personal guidance of the Bishop of the Diocese: 3 elected from tsunami core committee, 3 ex-officio members, 1 internal auditor and Bishop of the Diocese.
