TMSSS distance adoption programme supports the children under the category of orphans, semi-orphans, very poor and with sick parents. The deserving children are selected with the help of parish priests and SHG members, Adoption coordinator with final decision by the director of TMSSS.

During the last year TMSSS supported 360 students throughout the Diocese, providing financial aid aimed to pay the school fees and educational materials. The distance adoption is a kind of sponsorship provided mostly by foreign families.

The adoption programme is flourishing to the new horizon that the beneficiaries in our programme have been swelling as the belly of laughing Buddha. It is very much possible just because of the kind hearts from the supporting agencies 360 beneficiaries have been benefited from the scheme.
